AusIndustry is the Commonwealth Government's central point for business assistance and information. Programs and services administered through AusIndustry include the Commercialisation Australia, the Innovation Investment Fund (IIF), R&D Tax Program, Venture Capital Limited Partnerships and Early Stage Venture Capital Limited Partnerships.
Austrade jointly runs the Invest Australia Program with DIST. It is also helps Australian exporters through information and advice about overseas markets and export opportunities; practical assistance including identifying foreign investment partners, and grants to assist businesses market their products and services overseas.
Australian Taxation Office
The site provides taxation news, information on a wide range of taxation matters, as well as media releases, speeches and taxation rulings and determinations.
The Treasury's Mission: To improve the wellbeing of the Australian people, by providing sound and timely advice to the Government based on thorough analysis of options, and by assisting the Treasury Ministers in the administration of their responsibilities and the implementation of Government decisions.
Business Entry Point (BEP)
BEP is an initiative of the Australian Federal Government, and all States and Territories. The BEP provides access to resources from approximately 50 Commonwealth Government agencies, 100 State and Territory Government agencies, and 125 industry as sociations.
Renewable Energy Venture Capital Fund (REVCF)
REVCF is administered by the Commonwealth Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism. It has established the $200m Southern Cross Renewable Energy Fund as a 13-year co-investment arrangement by the Australian Government, Southern Cross Venture Partners (SXVP) and Softbank China Venture Capital (SBCVC).
NSW Trade and Investment
The New South Wales Department of Trade and Investment is the first point of contact within government for companies wishing to do business in Sydney and regional New South Wales (NSW). A range of programs are offered to support innovation, investment, research and funding for commercial initiatives.
