This AVCAL-ARC Linkage study has found that Australian VC-backed IPOs have better corporate governance than non-VC backed IPOs. The study reports that VC-backed IPO boards have more independent directors, and a higher percentage of independent directors with industry experience, than non-VC backed IPOs.
