Next Capital is an independent private equity firm specialising in providing capital for later-stage expansion and small-to-mid market buyouts. Next raised an initial fund of A$265 million in 2005 to invest in businesses with an enterprise value of between A$50 million and A$250 million. This fund has now been fully committed in 7 investments. Next Capital II was closed on 30 June, 2009 with committed capital of A$285 million.
