Membership benefits and fee schedule

AVCAL was established in 1992 as an organisation to represent the interests of participants in private equity and venture capital. By joining AVCAL you can be part of an integrated voice for the Australian industry.

Some of the important features of the last 12months have been:

  • a successful outcome from the Senate Economics Committee Enquiry into Private Equity (especially when compared to ongoing enquiries overseas)
  • advocacy for Venture Capital and innovation, including leading the joint approach from Ausbiotech and Research Australia against the axing of the Commercial Ready program
  • a good working relationship with the Government and regulators
  • delivery of a new Advanced Training Course in Private Equity as well as another successful Foundation course
  • involvement globally in setting standards and best practice
  • building a new research and data capability to help inform the industry and other stakeholders

Applying is easy:

  • You should complete the online membership application form.
  • Once you have been approved by email, you will receive a welcome email and tax invoice.
  • Please pay this invoice promptly; failure to do this may affect your attendance and participation at our events.
  • Renewals are carried out annually on 1 July for the following financial year.
  • Pro-rata invoices may be generated for any memberships commencing during any financial year.
  • Make sure that you create a registered user profile via our website if you have not already. This ensures that you receive our communications and are able to book for events online.
