Booking Accommodation and Travel - Book Now
Eventlogic is the official travel agent for the conference. AVCAL has secured special accommodation rates at the Sheraton Mirage, Palazzo Versace & Holiday Inn hotels, and have negotiated special airfares for AVCAL delegates. Accommodation & air travel must be booked through Eventlogic to secure these exclusive rates.

How to book
All delegates wishing to stay at either the Sheraton Mirage, Palazzo Versace or Holiday Inn must complete the on-line travel and accommodation booking form.

Accommodation
The conference is taking place at two adjacent hotels, Palazzo Versace and the Sheraton Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast.

Special conference rates have been secured, for a limited number of rooms. Accommodation bookings MUST be booked through Eventlogic. There will be no booking fee for accommodation when you book your accommodation through Eventlogic. Bookings made direct with the hotel will not be accepted at AVCAL rates:

Palazzo Versace: $310 per room per night, room only SOLD OUT
Sheraton Mirage: $275 per room per night, room only SOLD OUT

We are also holding rooms at Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise at a special rate of $195 per room per night (including breakfast). The Holiday Inn is located approximately 5 minutes drive from the conference hotels and has just undergone a major refurbishment.

Hotel Deposit Requirements
All hotels require a credit card as a guarantee, this will be charged upon check-out or if a cancellation fee is due. Tax invoices for this charge are available upon check out at the hotel or at the time of cancellation.

Rooms are limited, and once the AVCAL room allocation has been sold, preferred corporate rates will apply, subject to availability. Book prior to 27th July 2007 to access these rates. Book early to avoid missing out.

Airfare Conditions
These airfares are non-refundable.  Changes are permitted (subject to class availability) for a fee of approx $38.50 plus any fare difference if applicable.  Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of departure.

Confirmation
Eventlogic will email a confirmation of your itinerary within 2 business days.

Please bring your confirmation with you to the conference.

Changes
All changes will incur a 11.00 change fee plus any addition hotel costs.

Cancellation policies
Accommodation cancellations received up to 45 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of $55.

Cancellations received within 45 days of the conference will incur a cancellation fee equal to one night's room rate, per room cancelled plus the standard accommodation cancellation fee of $55.

Cancellation received within 7 days prior to arrival will lose full payment plus the standard $55 cancellation fee.

The applicable airfare amendment and cancellation fees will also apply.
