Booking Accommodation and Travel
Travelogic is the official travel agent for the conference. Travelogic have secured special accommodation rates at the Sheraton and Palazzo Versace hotels, and have negotiated special airfares for AVCAL delegates. Accommodation and air travel must be booked through Travelogic to secure these exclusive rates.

All delegates wishing to stay at either the Sheraton or Palazzo Versace must complete the travel and accommodation booking form.

*Please Note: All accomodation has been filled at the Sheraton, Palazzo Versace and the Marriot. Rooms are still available at Sea World Nara and Holliday Inn.

Accommodation
The conference is taking place at two adjacent hotels, Palazzo Versace and the Sheraton Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast.

Special conference rates have been secured, for a limited number of rooms. Accommodation bookings MUST be booked through Travelogic. Bookings made direct at the hotel will not be accepted at AVCAL rates:

Palazzo Versace: $295 per room per night, room only
Sheraton Mirage: $270 per room per night, room only

We are also holding a small number of rooms at the Marriott Resort Surfers Paradise at a special rate of $215 per room per night, room only. The Marriott Hotel is located approximately 5 - 10 minutes drive from the conference hotels.

Hotel Deposit Requirements
A deposit of one night's accommodation is due at time of booking with balance payable upon check-out. The hotel will process this against the credit card provided. Tax invoices for this charge are available upon check out at the hotel.

Rooms are limited, and once the AVCAL room allocation has been sold, preferred corporate rates will apply, subject to availability. Book prior to 29th July 2005 to access these rates.

Travelogic has acess to the lowest fares in the market (including internet & group fares) for AVCAL delegates:

Conditions
These airfares are non-refundable.  Changes are permitted (subject to class availability) for a fee of approx $33 plus any fare difference if applicable.  Changes are not permitted within 24 hours or departure.

Travelogic will email a confirmation of your itinerary within 2 business days.

Please bring your confirmation with you to the conference.

Cancellation policies
Accommodation deposits are refundable up to 45 days prior to arrival however bookings cancelled will incur a cancellation fee of $50. Within 45 days of the conference a cancellation fee equal to one nights room rate, per room cancelled. Cancellation within 7 days will lose full payment.

The applicable airfare amendment and cancellations fees will also apply.

In addition to the above cancellation policies, any itinerary amendments and/or cancellations within 7 days of departure will incur a $50 fee plus any fare difference.
