Conference Registration

Conference registrations must be made via the AVCAL website, as the information you provide is downloaded directly into our registration software. This ensures that your information is entered exactly as you provide it, and that all registration & payment details are kept confidential. You will receive confirmation of your registration and tax invoice via email. However your registration is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

Registration to AVCAL 2005 includes:

Full access to all conference sessions
1 ticket to the Cocktail Party, Wednesday evening
1 ticket to the Annual Australian Venture Capital Dinner, Thursday evening
Morning and Afternoon Teas and Luncheons (Wednesday & Thursday)

AVCAL Early Bird Member (before Friday 29 July): $1395
AVCAL Member (after Friday 29 July): $1795

The fee does NOT include accommodation or travel expenses. Please see "Accommodation and Travel" section for further details.

Delegates who have paid for their conference registrations and have booked accommodation by 29 July 2005, will automatically be entered into the Early Bird Prize draw.

Conference registration is subject to the conditions below.

Delegates must be financial members of AVCAL as defined by the constitution.
Delegates agree not to stage competing events such as golf, dinners, luncheons etc during the conference.
Registration is restricted to paid up members of AVCAL for the 2005/2006 financial year.
Substitutions may only be made in favour of paid up members.
In the event that the conference is over subscribed, AVCAL reserves the right to allocate places on the wait-list in its sole discretion.

Refusal of Registration
AVCAL reserves the right to refuse any registration at its sole discretion.

Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations and substitutions must be received via email.

Delegates who send notification of cancellation before close of business on Friday 2 September 2005 will receive a refund minus a $200 admin fee. This policy applies to all notifications cancelling conference registration.

Cancellations received after Friday 2 September 2005 will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

AVCAL can not be held liable for any costs or expenses, of whatever nature (such as hotel and transportation costs and expenses) incurred in connection with the conference for any participant who is prevented from attending for any reason (such as, but not limited to, illness).

There will be no fee for substitutions or changes to registrations received prior to Friday 2 September 2005. Substitutions or changes to registrations received after this date will incur an admin fee of $200.

No substitutions or changes will be accepted after Monday 11 September 2005.

Substitutions can only be made in favour of AVCAL members, as attendance at the conference is restricted to members only. Substitutes must be individual members of AVCAL, or Corporate Member representatives as defined by the Constitution.

A tax invoice will be issued via email within 5 working days of registration. Please contact AVCAL on
02 9251 3888 if you have not received confirmation and your invoice within this time.

Speakers

AVCAL reserves the right to alter the program and / or speakers as necessary.

Conference Papers

Conference papers provided by speakers will be made available on the AVCAL website at the conclusion of the conference.

Privacy

A soft copy of the delegate list (includes all contact details) will be available to Conference Sponsors. A delegate list (without contact details) will also be made available to all attendees.
