Mr. Vercoutere is a Partner at LGT Capital Partners Ltd (“LGT CP”). Based near Zurich, Switzerland, LGT CP is dedicated to providing value-added private equity and hedge funds investment management programs and services to institutional investors . LGT CP is one of the leading European managers of alternative investments and its team of over 60 people currently manages over $4 billion in private equity assets and $3 billion in hedge funds assets. In addition to investments in well-established top tier funds in Europe and in the U.S., LGT CP has built a reputation as a sensible backer of newly emerging private equity managers, committing early to a number of European and U.S. first-time funds.

Mr. Vercoutere joined the LGT Group in 1998 to lead its private equity activities. Prior to this, he was Vice President and investment committee member of Pacific Corporate Group (“PCG”), a U.S.-based private equity advisor and manager he joined in 1992. While at PCG, he was responsible for U.S. and European private equity investments on behalf of major institutional investors, including The World Bank, CalPERS, the State of Oregon, the State of Rhode Island and PCG’s fund-of-funds. He currently sits on the advisory board of a number of U.S. and European private equity partnerships.
