Brad Stanius

Brad is 58 years old and the father of 5 children and 9 grandchildren.

He has been an active member of the “Castle Harlan Family” of executives since 1992.

Brad was introduced to Castle Harlan as the Sr. V.P. of Sales, Marketing and Operations of Smarte Carte Inc, the world’s largest airport trolley and locker service company. Subsequently he was appointed President and CEO for Smarte Carte. Castle Harlan was highly successful managing its investment and sold Smarte Carte in 1996. Brad stayed on to grow Smarte Carte through two more highly successful LBO transactions and they became the dominant global company specializing in locker and trolley concessions.

Brad’s relationship with Castle Harlan is consistent with other Castle Harlan senior management colleagues; he is also an investor in CHP III, CHP IV and CHAMP and serves as a Board Member of other CHP companies.

In 1999 Brad joined the Board of WFS, another Castle Harlan investment, and was appointed Executive Chairman and CEO of the group in 2000. Ultimately, a successful sale of the company occurred on September 10, 2001.

In 2002 CHP appointed Brad to the Board of Directors of Gravograph-Technifor, a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of engraving equipment, engravable materials, part marking and specialized software. Since June of 2004 he has been serving as President and CEO and is based in Atlanta, Georgia U.S.A. The company has production plants in Troyes and Lyon France, and is expanding production into China. Brad and his team have restructured the company for profitability; they are on a Run rate to nearly double the EBITDA of the previous year.

Throughout his business career, Brad has also been active in community service. He served 2 years as City Councilman, and 8 years as Mayor for the city of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. From Mayor, Brad was elected 5 times over 10 years as a State Representative from his area to the Minnesota House of Representatives. While a State Representative, he was also elected Assistant Minority Leader and the Republican Whip directing daily debate on the floor of the House. Brad continues to remain politically active and maintains his extensive political network throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Brad graduated from the University Of Minnesota School Of Pharmacy with a 5 year degree, and a license to practice pharmacy. He has taken post graduate course work in Accounting, Business Finance and Commodity Speculation.

Brad was a successful pharmacy owner and was the founder of Pharmacy Network of Minnesota, a preferred provider network of 420 pharmacies.

In his spare time Brad is an avid outdoorsman. He is an accomplished outdoor writer for the past 20 years, Champion tournament fisherman, and founder of the Minnesota Outdoor Sportsman’s Caucus. He is also a founding director of the Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Alliance, which was responsible for passage of a Constitutional Amendment for the Right to Hunt and Fish in Minnesota.
