OneVentures leads $1.5M series-A financing for Paloma Mobile

AVCAL member OneVentures has invested in Sydney-based startup Paloma Mobile to help grow its smartphone services in Southeast Asia, Latin America and other markets. Paloma Mobile is targeting the expected 1 billion users of smartphones by 2014 with its data-efficient services. OneVentures partner Anne-Marie Birkill said the firm is excited to support Paloma with its excellent track record of creating and exiting companies.
