Gareth has over 11 years of private equity investing experience and joined CHAMP Ventures in 2004. Gareth has been responsible for the investments in Australian Temporary Fencing, Mulford Plastics, Minelab, Intercast & Forge, Taura Natural Ingredients, Australian Portable Buildings and H-E Parts. Gareth also co-led the successful raising of CHAMP Ventures’ seventh fund in 2012, the first CHAMP Ventures fund to approach and successfully attract capital from overseas investors.

Prior to joining CHAMP Ventures, Gareth worked for ISIS Private Equity, a leading lower mid-market private equity firm in the UK. Previously, Gareth also worked in the restructuring team at KPMG assisting management turn around underperforming businesses in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Gareth has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Manchester University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
