6th February 2007
No. 2 | 2007

Dear AVCAL members and associates,

Time is flying and we are already into February and gearing up for a very busy time ahead of us. We are planning for a full series of events for 2007 and it should prove to be a very interesting year.

The first key event for us is the launch of the report which we commissioned from PricewaterhouseCoopers into "The Economic Impact of Private Equity and Venture Capital in Australia". I'd like to thank all of those who participated in the survey, particularly the CFOs and finance staff. The information you've provided was critical to the report's depth and independence and I know that it was a substantial effort to collate that data for us. It was much appreciated. The report will be available on our web-site from Thursday 8th February and downloadable as a PDF.

The Foundation Course has only had registrations open for 3 working days and is already nearly full. If you or a colleague are wanting to participate on the course you'll need to get your applications in very quickly.

All the best for 2007, I hope to see many of you during the year at our various events around the country.
